W.G. Gorbachev, A.M. Mokrushin: Simulation of the Urban Territories by Means of GIS Thechnologies CSIT 2000 : 94-99
Modelling of complex spartially arranged evolutionary systems has already been discussed for a long time. Unfortunately, dynamic systems with a great number of various evolutionary objects have not been described analytically. Elaboration of static or simulation models has always been viewed as the way-out. But up today it has been difficult to hope for getting good results here because the creation of simulation model systems with a great number of various elements calls for the use of computers with an extremely large memory capasity and the highest perfomance.
