Abstract

While developing a large scale distributed system aimed at automating supply chain distribution facility the author came across the problem of enabling sharing unique equipment between two simultaneously executed phases of the project - test and production. This article summarises the experience gained by the author in the area of integration heterogeneous distributed large-scale systems being constrained by time and some limitations of the systems to be integrated such as predefined synchronous model of communication.
