Abstract

It is necessary to used exact and adequate data on corresponding levels of control for successful functioning of computer-aided systems providing informational and intellectual support of decision-making processes. High rate of development of information technologies at present provides constant improvement of systems for data collection and processing. Faithful data representation in database and knowledge base as well as new methods of Repository forming increases essentially the decision-making efficiency. Facilities and possibilities of modern information technologies are impelling advanced users to make new demands. Dialectical process of automation of all aspects of control has resulted in forming information business. Organizational control is computer-aided on every level nowadays, that brings about rapid development of the above business. The analysis of the steps of this development shows that these steps occur cyclically with continuous grading into upper level of decision-making automation. Every cycle includes more and more advanced technologies.
