This paper represents the results of latest researches conducted by CEMI; Dataquest and ExactData companies, which specialize on IT researches. The laboratory for Network information resources is a developer of the most complete database of Russian Internet and well-known catalogues and guidebooks (both online and printed). Dataquest is a member of GartnerGroup; it is the world leader of IT-market researches with its research centres in various regions, staff of experts from different countries and unique universal databases. The company conducts more than 150 research programs, 29 of which are directly connected to electronic business. ExactData Co is the Russian partner of the Finnish company Market-Visio, exclusive distributor of GartnerGroup products and services in Finland, Baltic countries and Russia.
The results of researches and analytical materials are intended for the scientists and experts, and also for information and telecommunication companies; investors and end-users of information technologies who need in reliable data about perspective directions and common tendencies in IT for decisions about developing new devices and software; scales and return of investments and for estimation the efficiency of activity in information and telecommunication industry.
