Abstract

In this paper we discuss principles, problems and complexities of building knowledge testing systems for the distant education. This papers covers topics related to three levels of testing systems development - conceptual layer containing basic principles, abstract models layer which describes models of implementing basic concepts and application level which proposes technologies that may be used to develop knowledge testing system.
