Abstract

This paper summarizes the contents of the GEISA-97 (Gestion et Etude des Informations Spectroscopiques Atmospheriques; word translation: Management and Study of Atmospheric Spectroscopic Information) infrared spectroscopic databank, comprising 1,346,266 spectral lines of 42 molecules and 4,716,743 infrared absorption cross-sections of 23 molecules.The associated WWW-based software for the data management is discussed. The databank is on-line accessible upon request at http://ara01.polytechnique.fr/registration.
