Abstract
The paper considers a universal formal model for keeping track of the amount
of medical care rendered in medical and preventive treatment institutions
of the Russian Federation. The model can be used by establishments concerned
with compulsory health insurance. The model is based on the experience
gained in introducing automated information systems in different parts
of Russia.
