Abstract

The information on the working model of network multimedia database on structure and physicochemical properties of liquid and crystalline metals is represented. The brief substantiation of the system of database management choice (Oracle 7 and Postgres 95), adequate to solved problem sectionals, the principles of construction and procedure of its operation are surveyed. The network address of DB for the users in Internet, brief information on its structure and expedients of information retrieval in the database is given.
