Abstract

Attempts to create an electronic reference source to facilitate translation of Russian biochemical and microbiological literature into English are described. It is hoped that this source, tentatively called The IBPPM Guide to Better Scientific English, will be of interest and benefit to both research workers and professional translators from Russian into English.
